James A. Longstreth, Ph.D. is the founder and president of Longstreth & Associates, Inc., a company specializing in assisting the pharmaceutical industry identify and coordinate the pharmacokinetic aspects of drug development and life cycle management for new molecular entities and new product formulations.  Dr. Longstreth works with pharmaceutical and biotech clients to integrate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic findings into IND, NDA and sNDA filings with the FDA and similar international regulatory bodies, as well as to develop strategies for the use of pharmacokinetics in marketing efforts.  Dr. Longstreth received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and his Ph. D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.  He is an author on over 30 articles and book chapters.  His past experience includes being a pharmacokineticist at NIH, being a member of the pharmaceutics faculty at the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy (Chapel Hill), and holding several clinical research positions in the pharmaceutical company, G.D. Searle.  Dr. Longstreth has more than 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a pharmcokineticist.
